Cavvietta Quarter Horse & Cattle Co.
Gracie & Pedro aim to bring traditional horsemanship of the west to your back door in North Carolina, and the Cavvietta team is dedicated to making your experience on the ranch as fun and safe as possible. With years of experience in many equine activities, our trainers and caretakers know the ropes! Our mission is to help others learn and grown in their Stockmanship, Horsemanship, & Sportmanship via safe and effective communication with their equine partners.
Cavvietta is proud to have its roots in this great country and we thank the Lord every day for the opportunities we have!
Not only do we offer an event venue for weddings, parties, quinceaneras, and more, we offer a full range of equine events including lessons, horse shows, clinics, and rodeos.
Stay with us on the ranch! We offer two dwellings for nightly rental. The Bunkhouse sleeps up to six and the Cabin sleeps up to two. For limited stays, we are also offering the Horse Trailer with Living Quarters. Each space includes heat and AC, a mini fridge with freezer (except the Horse Trailer), a microwave, and a small coffee bar. Enjoy watching the sunrise over the cow pasture. For added convenience, there is a Dollar General Market right next door to the ranch for grocery and toiletry runs!
We also offer layover board for horses! Text/call Gracie to book a stall for your layover.

Dry RV and Tent Camping is a small fee per night. You may book your camping spot by visiting Hipcamp.
Camper hookups might be available, text Gracie for info!
The horse trailer is available via private booking only. Text Gracie at 919-669-89546 to book a stay in the Horse Trailer if the Cabin & Bunkhouse are already booked.
The Horse Trailer is OLD, but it is a clean, dry place with AC/Heat and a full bathroom. We ask that guests not use the kitchen appliances or the kitchen sink in the trailer, but we will provide a coffee pot. There is a shower with hot water, a toilet and a sink in the bathroom. The couch pulls out into a small bed that can sleep two little kiddos or one adult. Please be mindful that those wishing to stay for more than two days might need to use the portable toilet close by in an effort to not max out the black tank in the Horse Trailer. The bathroom does have a closet for clothes. In winter months, a space heater will be provided. The water heater uses propane, so you must turn the propane on several minutes before you need the hot water. We provide linens and towels. Please let us know if extra sheets are needed for the pull out couch. Added bonus: there is a Dollar General in the lot adjoining the ranch, so if you need groceries or toiletries, there is great convenience right next door!
The brand you see on our horses, cattle, and across our marketing was designed right here at home—by Gracie, Pedro, and Mike (aka Bop).
Because none of what we do would be possible without the love and support of our families, we wanted our brand to reflect that. The T stands for Torres, the L for Lester, and the C represents the coming together of both families to create something special—Cavvietta.
We’re beyond grateful for our families and everything they do behind the scenes to help make this dream a reality.
Why the name Cavvietta?
The word Cavvietta is a lesser used term that was derived from the Spanish word Caballada.
In ranching, a “cavvy” refers to a herd of saddle-broke horses on an outfit. One day, while doing barn chores and listening to cowboy poet Waddie Mitchell, we heard him use the word “cavvietta” in place of “cavvy” in a poem. It struck a chord with us—and it stuck. We’ve loved it ever since
