• CORRALS are wood board and metal panel constructed with seven 30x30 pens and one 30x60 pen and one 60x100 pen.
• The ranch is nestled in the tall Ponderosa Pines at 8,000 feet elevation in a small secluded valley.
• It is surrounded by the 3 million acre Gila National Forest and offers a variety of terrain from mountain forest trails through the high timber to beautiful grasslands cut by deep canyons, to alpine meadows filled with elk. Ride something new everyday!
• Don’t let the thought of summer in New Mexico scare ya off! At our high elevation it is cool summer days and chilly nights. Average July and August temperatures are 75-80 during the day and 45-50 at night! And no snakes or biting bugs.

• Rent whole ranch with 7 cabins The cabins are two bed cabins with solar lights and gas heat.
• Rent the Guest Cabin 2 bedroom with a queen bed and bund room and fully stocked kitchen
• SHOWERHOUSE is really nice with a men’s and women’s room both with one shower, two sinks and plenty of hot water.
• OUTHOUSES...the nicest you will ever see!
• COOKHOUSE is a fun, comfortable, building right out of the old west with a large porch overlooking the valley and pastures. The building has a full kitchen [no microwave] and dining area. All cooking and eating utensils are provided.

Q: Do you rent horses?

A: Horses are available to rent from a very reputable local outfitter, San Francisco Outfitters. You must call and book through Paula at 575-533-6447 or 520-559-3315.

Q: Why only 12 people and horses if you have more beds available?

A: This is the best number so the showerhouse, cookhouse and outhouses can keep everyone happy and so horses all have their own safe space.

Q: Can I get a big living quarters trailer into the ranch?

A: Yes, the first 12 miles up the mountain from the village of Reserve is paved but is steep and has three switchbacks, once on top it kinda levels off. The road is paved but rough all the way until the last 12 miles which is all weather gravel. The trip is not bad, just slow, figure on 1.5 hrs to cover the 38 miles from Reserve to the ranch.

Q: Do you have hookups?

A: No, the entire ranch is off the grid but we can refill water tanks for you. Most folks coming to the high country use generators or solar setups.

Q: Do cell phones and internet work at the ranch?

A: No. There is a land line at the main house for emergency contact calls but not for just chatting on. We have no long distance service so you must bring your own calling card.

Q: Can I bring my dog?

A: Just recently our insurance company has said we can allow outside dogs but… NO DOGS IN ANY OF THE BUILDINGS and don't bring a bad dog. Just outside the ranch gates are thousands of acres your dog can run free on. You must clean up after your dog on the private land.
