Golden Hour Farm
FAMILY OWNED & OPERATED
Golden Hour Farm resides in the hills of Cache Valley Utah and is surrounded by the picturesque Wasatch mountains. Our Family (animals included) enjoys the sunny summers and snow-filled winters. After spending 8 years in Europe, we knew we wanted to plant roots in the USA and provide a life for our family that included animals, being outdoors, and implementing sustainable practices for our land and community. We bought our first 60 acres in 2020 and our animals are now grazing on hundreds of acres of grass pastures.
The Cowboy Experience
Enjoy a scenic horseback ride through our Highland Cattle herd, riding in green rolling pastures at the base of the magnificent Rocky Mountains. Come prepared to learn the skills of true horsemanship!
What's the ride like?
The horseback ride is roughly 1.5 hours long and takes place on our farm through hundreds of acres of rolling hills where our Cattle live. We take a maximum of 6 riders per tour to ensure a personalized experience. We do our best to find the cattle wherever they're hanging out that day to give you an up-close and personal experience seeing Cattle (some of which are Scottish Highlands) from horseback!
What if I'm a beginner rider or an expert rider?
Riders of all experience levels are welcome. From beginners to experts, we have horses suited for everyone (must be 9 years or older and in good physical condition).
What should we wear on the ride?
Long pants and closed-toed shoes are a must! A hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen are recommended on our hotter days.
Do you take drop-ins?
Reservations are required, and rides must be booked in advance. You must have an appointment in order to visit the farm.
